How to find your own way?
Great question. If you ended up on this article it is precisely because you wrote on search engines “how to find your own way” hoping to find something that can help you.
I have good news for you!
You’re in the right place!
You’re lucky because not only have you found an article on how to find your own way, but you’ve also found a whole discipline that really helps you find your way!
The discipline that will help you is Primordial Psychology.
Primordial Psychology offers a set of knowledge that allows the individual to operate on his own mind, soul and body.
Now you will tell me: But Edoardo! I just wanted to read an article on a personal growth blog, do not sign up for university!
Now you’re going to say to me: “But Edoardo! I just wanted to read an article on personal growth or mind blog, not enrol in university!”
Dear reader, do not worry! In this article I will give you the three basic tips to help you start really finding your way.
If you want to turbocharge your life, then you can always go deeper into what Primordial Psychology has to offer.
First of all, let me tell you that wandering around aimlessly is not a good strategy.
If you do not know where you are going, will you ever get there? Of course not!
Without a direction to follow, which should be guided by your values and reason for living, you will end up living a random life with little meaning.
Of course, you can’t plan everything and it’s also nice to discover new things and receive unexpected things in life. But there is a big difference between living with a purpose and being carried away by events without any control.
“There is no favorable wind for the sailor who doesn’t know where to go” Seneca
So here are my 3 tips to find your way:
1. Learn To Listen To Yourself
Do you know what was written on the pronaos of the most prestigious oracle of Greek religion in the archaic period?
KNOW THYSELF. This was the inscription on the temple of Apollo at Delphi.
This ancient exhortation has inspired – and continues to inspire – people all over the world.
Reflect. If Delphi was one of the most important centres of worship and pilgrimage in antiquity as the site of the temple of the god Apollo, don’t you think there is something very special about that sentence in front of the temple?
Know Yourself is the most important milestone in personal development.
If you don’t know who you really are, how can you understand your uniqueness and make the best use of the power within you?
How can you cultivate your strengths and empower your weaknesses without knowing who you really are?
You can’t!
That is why you have to learn to listen to yourself. You have to learn to know yourself!
Without bringing up the technology of the Primordial Ego of my scientific protocol, I tell you that you can start listening to yourself by spending time in nature, using the power of silence, which is the magic that can raise the volume of your thoughts.
Go and recharge yourself in the middle of nature, away from advertisements, televisions, internet, without any technological devices on.
You should start fasting from artificial society, to reduce external stimuli in favour of your internal stimuli.
You have to give yourself time to bring them out. Then listen to them. Then understand them.
Learn to be alone in silence and listen to yourself in nature. Isolating yourself to think is what makes the difference
“All of humanity’s problems stem from man’s inability to sit quietly in a room alone.” Blaise Pascal
Listen to yourself! You have to understand who you are and what you want in order to start living your real life!
Otherwise you will end up living a life you did not choose. It is not wise to allow other people to decide how your life should be.
Learn to listen to yourself!
2. Surround yourself with successful people
If you haven’t been able to find your way yet it will be a great inspiration for you to start dating people who live according to a purpose, people who are living their reason for living and who are successful in what they do.
The word “success” comes from the Latin “succeed” meaning “to go up” or “to follow”. Dictionaries define success as “to succeed well” or “to obtain a desired object or purpose”.
Essentially, ‘becoming successful’ has to do with developing the skills and resources needed to achieve the results you want.
So why surround yourself with successful people?
The reason is very simple. Only those who are successful in something can teach you to be successful in that thing.
Would you take advice on how to make a good pizza from someone who has never made one in his life?
Obviously not!
Success leaves traces. Follow it! Listen to those who have solved your problems before you. Listen to those who have achieved the goals you want to achieve.
Why should you listen to them? Because what they did worked!
Let me tell you a secret! Many successful people attribute their entire fortune to the power and knowledge accumulated through Mastermind Groups.
The Power of Mastermind is pure magic. Therefore, I urge you to create a Mastermind Group too.
“You’re the average of the five people spend the most time with” Jim Rohn
3. Read at least one book a week
Now do not make the mistake of abandoning this article and not reading it to the end!
Reading has always been the key to success for many people. Even many of today’s millionaires.
You have to know that all the most successful people in the world indicate how their critical success factor is reading.
But you have to be careful to read the right books. You have to prefer non-fiction to fiction.
In fact, people with a low income usually read to entertain themselves. While successful people read to improve and empower themselves.
This is not to say that people with a low income cannot be successful.
But in most cases, if you are better than others, you earn more. Believe it or not, making money is also a matter of skills and know-how.
So, what you need to do is to start acquiring the habit of reading every day (you can start even for just 10 minutes).
This will enable you to learn something new every day.
Over time, the acquisition of new knowledge and skills will transform you into a better person.
